Visiting researchers

ITR encourages academics and researchers from other universities or research institutes from Australia and overseas to consider spending a period at ITR as Visiting Research Scholars. Such interactions can increase the knowledge and capabilities of the researchers involved, and promote the interchange of ideas, techniques and methodologies.

For approved visits, the following types of assistance may be provided:

Visiting academics will generally be expected to fund travel costs, all medical expenses and living allowance. However, on a case by case basis it may be possible for ITR and/or UniSA to assist towards the cost of accommodation and/or return airfare and/or a living allowance.
