Bill Cowley is a Research Group Leader in ITR. His research deals mainly with communications signal processing, including modem synchronisation algorithms, high speed receiver architectures, iterative receiver techniques, satellite communications systems, free space optical (FSO) communications and speech processing. At present he also coordinates ITR's research degrees programs.
