Facilities
ITR has a diverse range of facilities at its disposal to service research and development needs. We have a number of industry standard and bespoke software and hardware development tools as well as laboratory test equipment. In addition, we are constantly updating our rapid prototyping capabilities through a facility dedicated to taking research concepts quickly to proof of concept demonstration for evaluation.
Furthermore, we operate a joint program with the University of Adelaide (South Australian Networking Laboratory) that has a capability focussed on demonstration and development of solutions in the mobile ad-hoc networking and software radio area.
ITR also has developed and maintains fully operational satellite ground station facilities. These include S-band, X-band (both steerable) and Ku-band (fixed) systems.
