Engineering
The Engineering Projects Group (EPG) consists of a team with strong engineering skills (in digital and hardware electronics), matched by strong project management skills used in various communications applications to produce proof of concept, production or operational outcomes for industry.
Satellite communication equipment design and services as well as licensing of the new research outcomes continue to represent the core activities of this group which has close links with industry, original equipment manufacturers and end users of satellite services.

The Engineering Projects Group (EPG) works in an integrated way with research group staff within ITR to deliver quality hardware and software outcomes. The EPG has expertise in the areas of system, software and firmware design and development, and project management, with application particularly in the areas of modem and codec implementations. The EPG is able to deliver leading edge outcomes with their experience at turning algorithm outcomes of research into realisable outcomes for customers. The group has three main theme areas: |
